To Inspire Your Way To A Productive Week
Sometimes you need a kick in the pants and a friendly reminder that what want to achieve really is possible. So, here it is:
Success is your only option.
I wholeheartedly believe that. If you really put your mind to it and decide it’s possible, that success will ultimately come. It takes action, persistence, and consistency, but fundamentally, all you need is to decide that you are going to achieve anything and everything you want to do.
In this series weekly series, I have compiled 47 quotes from businessmen and women, public speakers, online entrepreneurs, philanthropists, artists, television show-runners and more. These people have achieved so much success, because not only have they decided that they are going to be successful, but they have also allowed themselves to fail. That’s one of the most important things to keep in mind. Failure is a part of achieving growth, because no one is just going to hand you the life you want. You must work for it, learn the lessons from any missteps, apply them and find any other way you can to reach your goal.
What I want you to do is find someone new from this series and learn more about them. I’ve even given you a short bio and some fun facts to start things off.
Expand your awareness and maybe even find yourself a new role model. Many of the people on this list are incredibly influential to me, and have completely changed my view of money, business, and success.
“Focus on being productive instead of busy.” – Tim Ferriss
What I Like About This Quote: It may sound strange, but busyness is the ultimate success killer. So many people think that you’re productive if you’re busy, but you’re really, really not. Most times, when you’re busy, you’re just spinning your wheels on the things that don’t actually matter, the things that won’t take your side hustle that important next step forward.
Make a list of all those things you think you need to do and narrow it down to the top three things YOU must accomplish. Everything else? Delegate if you can, but if you can’t, then don’t worry about pushing it off a bit. Focus on those things that will make the biggest impact on your side hustle, your blog, you’re business. Don’t be busy. Rather, be intentional with the things you focus on.
And if you work a traditional 9-5? The same principles apply. Focus on the things most important to your position and your duties and focus on doing those well. Delegate whatever you can, and work on the most important projects when you’re the most productive.

Could do with a SERIOUS kick in the pants today (or just a bucket of coffee) as my kid keeps waking me at 4.45am
Motivational kicks in the pants are my speciality! Get at it!
I try my hardest to focus on being productive instead of just busy. I always seem to get side-tracked. There just seems to be so much. Once I start on one project, it involves part of another project and so on. Great pointers. Thank you.
I totally know what you’re talking about! I recently read somewhere that the best way to counteract that is to set up a timer and commit to focusing on getting as much done for one project at a time. If you run into a part of the project that requires another, just put that first project down to the bottom of your to do list and go on to the next. Just keep that list short!
Being productive always feels better than just being busy. There is something about completing important tasks that make the accomplishment more valuable.
Exactly! It’s so important to keep that distinction in mind!
Thanks for these motivational quotes. I need these to help me going.
You’re welcome! Much more to come!
I love this quote – don’t do something just for the sake of doing something. Do something meaningful.
Exactly! It’s so important to keep that distinction in mind!
Being productive always feels amazing. It certainly is better than just being busy.
Exactly! Stop spinning your wheels and focus on what’s really important and what will make the biggest impact!
These are all awesome motivational quotes. As many have said, being productive always feels better than just keeping yourself busy. Definitely just what I needed today, thanks for sharing!
As much as possible, I try to stay focus on my work because that makes me productive. Then after that, I treat myself as a reward for my accomplishments.
